I heard that The Phillips Collection is one of the best and smaller museums in the DC area and I must admit I'm pretty excited about going.

Can anybody vouch for the commute from Tysons Corner? I will be visiting NOVA and I was wondering if it's far or nearby.  After looking at google I'm confused lol. I do know where Dupont is so if it's a short walk from there that wouldn't be a problem for me.

Thanks in advance :-)

It is about a five minute walk from Dupont Circle, if you look at the museum web site it will give you walking directions from the Metro station.  And yes, it is one of the best small museums in the US, and sadly under-appreciated.  One of my DC favorites, the other being the Freer, which is part of the Smithsonian on the Mall and has a wonderful collection of American and Asian art.
