With no cities on the ad boards and no photo only thread started today, are you guys and gals renewing your VIP memberships, or waiting it out to see how TER responds to FOSTA?
If you're going to be up for renewal soon, it's worth it to wait a bit and see if the whole thing goes down in flames.
It'll probably be increasingly obvious how they're going to handle things as time goes on.

I send TER a message on this and they told me that it was in litigation. We can’t see who is coming to town or see the girls that live in our town or state. I asked for a refund and they said no. I think this could be the end of TER. I hope not, because I like their forum.
The only reason I write reviews is for the VIP benefits and I've been reticent about giving the site my credit card information.
Yes, it can be paid with gift cards. Did that a few weeks ago.

Now TER, this isn't carte Blanche to raise the monthly rate. But I assure you I will be a customer till the end. I hope that end is when they push my pine box into the kiln.
I hate not having the ads......but the key value of TER for me is the reviews and info exchange between the ladies and gents.
They’re in litigation right know so, you no longer can see the reviews nor can you see what ladies are in your state and there’s no refund.
You most definitely CAN read the reviews and that is what this site is all about. The ads are a free feature that TER offers and has nothing to do with your membership fees.
Criticize TER all you want, but get your fucking facts straight.

The last thread posted two days ago is still open, and many ladies continued to add new posts , some for the second time. Let the ladies know they have our support by liking as many as you can, even if there's no realistic possibility of ever meeting with them.
Now that it's a sausage fest, with no ads, what's the point of paying?
Back in my day, I didn't mind paying. Whether I had reviews or not to supplement it.
But now, I see, the ladies have went on their way to other venues where we don't have to pay here.
Yeah, TER has 1.5 million reviews. So what?
It's all about convenience and TER cut their shit in half
Just me, but I know what I want and I know where else to get it...
One of two things need to happen before I hand over my credit card info to TER again...
One is they let the ladies advertise again or Hell freezes over.

While posting ads was in fact free. It was the only real benefit to me personally. Now that that has been taken away. I just don't see the point in paying for the other features. I'm not the only one and several other ladies are going to delist. Men want reviews and we want to advertise.
For us guys, I think its very important to read reviews of someone we haven't seen before, otherwise how am I supposed to know if we would be a good match and she has the skills that I'm looking for.
I save my money for providers. Luckily I enjoy writing reviews so I don't mind spending a couple hours putting my experiences into text and getting two weeks worth of free days that way, and I do submit profile corrections of the providers I meet to earn a couple extra VIP days as well. Granted, this does mean that I spend a couple weeks without VIP access from time to time, but all it takes to fix that is booking with one of the many women I'm interested in meeting. Ultimately I'd rather not invest in a service that may disappear by next year due to FOSTA. Same thing with P411, I had a subscription to it but I let it lapse. Why pay for something that may decide to abruptly shut down? Things are too hot right now for me to spend any money on any hobbyist/provider platform.
I still need TER for its reviews. It sucks that providers have lost the ability to post ads, but ultimately for me as a hobbyist the main draw are the reviews and access to the thousands of profiles with indepth(though admittedly sometimes outdated) info. I'm traveling to Colorado in a few months and I plan to use this site to help me find a provider while I'm over there(if I can't get laid the old fashioned way). The interface is neat, clean, the reviews are well organized, and finding local active providers is super easy; I know of no other website that provides this kind of service at this level of quality and convenience. I know of a couple other websites that do similar things but they suck in comparison to this place.
I'm gonna keep using this place until either something better comes along(unlikely) or this place shuts down(likely).
So here I stay.

I spent many years as a paid VIP without availing myself of anything except the review access and PM capability. I didn't start on the discussion boards until about 3 years ago. TER membership has been (mostly) a positive experience for me, so I'm willing to wait and be the last one off if the ship does go down, but I, personally, think these guys are smart to figure out how to navigate through this. My first suggestion would be to start a gofundme page specifically to build up a war chest for coming legal fees and then fight this new law to the end. I would happily contribute. If each of the members that are just online right now donated an average of $50 to this fight (the same as two months VIP), they would have a formidable $3 million just starting out.

the reviews to stay clear of ROB and other low hanging fruit. The reviews are the essential element of teR; yes the R stands for reviews.
I prefer to see local ladies rather than touring ladies so while I miss the ad boards somewhat, it is not a deal breaker for me. Without the reviews, I would have fallen into a deep hole more than once. You can't just go by pics or even profiles, in order to find the GFE ladies, you need to read the reviews.
As someone already said, what is $25 when you spend hundreds for a good time.
The reviews are part of my screening. P411 and reviews are my initial requirements for me to feel comfortable about my safety.
If it goes away, I'm not sure what I will do. Guess I'll see if it happens.
And having grown up with 'dear penthouse' as my spank material, way before the internet, they also serve that part of me. I love to read about the ladies I know and enjoy, giving and getting pleasure. Hehehe. Gets me thinking about getting some more of that.
I've always used TER as a Truth Teller. Local-board reviews (now history) waxed poetic about communication, greetings, smiles, etc., but usually I had to double check on TER to find out some things important to me. Particularly valuable for traveling providers.
You never needed VIP to see the ad boards or the photo board, or to read or post on any discussion board for that matter! VIP is for reading reviews and using PMs which still works very well.

I would be willing to bet that hobbyists like myself browse the ad boards then look at a provider's reviews before any consideration.
Understood. With the ad and photo boards going away I was starting to wonder if the reviews would be the next thing to go. But I see the photo board is back up now. Seems like they'll find a way to keep the reviews going, which I agree is what makes VIP worth the investment.
The mutual agreement is it's the reviews that matter for most of you guys. Let's pretend I've never been here before. I get on here, somehow, because my intent is to see women. There are no ads. Just discussion groups. I see talk, talk, talk. Especially from fuckheads like me. Occasionally a lady chimes in, which is rare, cuz it's a guy's deal.
One of the things I dug about TER was the ladies could, and should, say their piece. Tell me I'm full of shit. Say Jake has a tiny winky or mrfisher is a mysonigistic asshole. Neither are true, but that's not my point...
The thing is, yeah, mr.fucksalot has 200 reviews, and fucking-new-guy can read them cuz he paid his first dues, but wtf? He has to go through each and every one of those and others to see which lady is in his town at a certain day and time?

I talked with mrfisher an hour or so ago and he explained to me what was going on. It has little impact on him cuz he sees a lot of regulars. Jake the same, I'm sure. If I went to LV tomorrow I can count on two hands who would be there if I invited them to spend time with.
The thing is, I know better and it will hinder me when I want to see someone new. This place had everything at one time and now it doesn't.
I can give two shits about reviews from strangers, anyway. When one of my brothers say I have to see 'this lady', that's where I go cuz I trust them and they know my taste.
I hope it goes well for TER and the rest of you, but as far as I'm concerned I'll just write here for free and not pay dues cuz I'm not going to pay a premium for half the service.
