at my ATM, that is.

Nice not to have to stand in the teller's line to get the large denominations like I used to do, and nice to not have to stuff envelopes to the point of bursting with twenties.

Gals:   Are you generally OK with 50s?    Some gals I know like the large bills, but others insisted on 20s.

And has for the longest time. 100, 50, or 20’s. If you don’t select it may give out larger denominations anyway

Really? Only seen them allow dispensing $20 and $10

Maybe an older ATM? I only use ones close to my home so maybe some have limited output.

I don't see a reason to deviate from non-sequential 20's until we all pickup crypto and run with it.

Also, most banks will increase your atm withdrawal limit if you ask.

So many people think they can only take out $500 a day or so using their ATM cards just because that's where their bank arbitrarily sets their daily limit when they open their account when in truth you can set you daily limit to pretty much whatever limit you like. I have my limits set where between a couple of different accounts I can get up to $5,000 a day in cash and even more with POS transactions. I could get even more if I wanted to, but I feel like five grand is enough cash to do  pretty much anything I might want to do, and it's low enough that someone (like myself) can't go emptying out my entire bank account if I were to have my card/s stolen or I were to get REALLY drunk one night. lol

As for crypto, yes I am a gambler, but even I have my limits.

I have a separate account that I load up before go to an ATM and withdraw it, so that lessens my fraud liability. You're right though, It doesn't lessen my Sauce-On-Tilt liability...

And yes, Crypto is a gamble if you're not converting to USD right away. As an exchange of value it's scary efficient, but as evidenced in other threads, it has a long way to go, user experience wise, before it sees wide adoption in our hobby.

I do however have a few irons in the fire, crypto wise. Can't win if you don't play right?

But that doesn't mean I am going to criticize other people who do play them, especially if they win. It's like sports betting, I have made an absolute killing at NCAA football, MLB, and NHL over the years, I have been absolutely slaughtered at NBA, and I haven't done a lot better at NCAA basketball, so unless and until I can figure out an "edge" where it comes to round ball, I have to be a realist and stick to what I know.

I will confess that if I were still trading for a living, I doubt I would be able to resist the volatility of the crypto currencies. Volatility is what makes traders rich. (Or poor too I suppose. lol)

As long as we have a real good time and it's all there at the end. kissy-kissy and  ~ oh-la-la~

There's a bank that also dispenses  $5's lol
