are posts from providers being moderated, and if so, is this because TER is afraid they may try and sneak an ad by? One gal PMed me yesterday to say all her posts were being held up, and now I see post from a gal who posted before I did, but the post wasn't there when I replied to a post.

I've been on this forum for a few years and all my postings are delayed...aka...moderated.
Only new members are moderated. (And people who break Posting rules) Once a new member posts for a while and shows they can participate in the forums without breaking the rules, they can be unmoderated, and posts go up instantly. If they break posting rules, they can be moderated again.
This thing with the providers being moderated now, is new and as fish suggested, im sure it's tied in to this new BS going on with the advertising rules.
I've never been informed of breaking any rules, had a few posts deleted because of political correctness. But my posts are always delayed... Sometimes for just a few minutes if the mid is online, sometimes a few hours when no mod is covering.
Mine have always been delayed as well, from the beginning. Except on the photo only board, they go up automatically.
And ask them to be unmoderated. It's really quite simple. They will either say yes or no.
If they say no, ask again in a few months.
I don't really care, just pointing out that not everyone is eventually unmoderated. In my case the fact that someone has to suffer reading through each and every one of my posts makes me smile. The poor bastard.

At least long time users who have demonstrated an ability to play well with others.
Every week or two I have a post held up for up to an hour.
And it can sometimes be many hours, depending on day of the week, time of day and how busy TER is.
Yesterday the delay was a little longer than usual. I suspect it was there was so much board activity regarding SESTA. That's a lot of comments to pour through...

As TER Admin has pointed out, Joke is a stalker. He misread both fish's post and mine because of his hatred and his need to spew his bile on the board. Joke is totally wrong - I never said fish was suggesting that providers try and sneak by an ad. fish was chastising TER for being afraid that providers would try to sneak an ad by, when he should have been chastising providers for potentially putting TER in danger by trying to sneak an ad by.
Now watch Joke's post disappear when he sees how foolish and hate-filled he looks. He's the most notorious post-puller on TER because he's so often embarrassed by his own posts.

sometimes my posts stay pending for up to 4 hrs. I used to only be moderated on P&R and someone went in and changed me to moderated on every platform before this new legislation passed. I am not a trouble maker. My posts were getting reported for things long time members do all the time. But that's okay, I am learning TER new rules since my 8 year hiatus. And I will be the best poster before long! haha 
Someone that had a long term appointment with me all day yesterday afternoon tried to shill me last night and it was removed stating it was an ad. ? So I checked other boards and yes they did have Friday shills. I feel like the step-child. But no time for worrying over that. I will learn to adapt to changes just like all of us.
