I understand your desire but I don't like it.  I think it adds more validity to that discussion/posters than is deserved.

This is a hobby, I liken the person complaining about prices to the guy who goes into the Porsche dealership and says, "I have VW money but I really like that convertable Porsche, so how about getting me into that for a price I can afford"  - sounds ridiculous doesn't it.

Seems like at least once a week (and sometimes it feels like once a day) someone starts a thread on pricing.

If there was a board devoted to this, then the Mods could move those discussions to a dedicated area and keep the other boards on topic.

That would make for a pretty uninteresting board.  Endless threads about price?  What a snooze.

and I'd much rather it not be in area in which I do have an interest.

My point being Mods have to power to move threads.  Give them a place to move these chats.

This is a great idea. I think there are some ladies and gents out there that get tired of conversations related to pricing or the current economy. So, put those convos on a separate board.

On the other hand, there are some people who are interested in discussing this topic. Some ladies might want to find out where the gents are financially in their area to better serve them in terms of pricing. Likewise, some gents might appreciate a board in which they may speak up about the current economy and pricing needs in order to continue their hobby.

Great idea!

Just think of all the puns! :)

I am afraid that smartasses like us would spoil all the grousing about high prices and cheap clients on the proposed new board. lol
