Im trying to take care of MYSELF and those deemed legit through the process that are on the PO board.  If you have reviews on another site, ask the review to dupe it here.  While several rules here seem senseless, I agree with that one and the reason behind it.  A "sister" doesn't feel the same way you do about the policy - it's NOT personal, it's processes.

how about letting providers who don't have TER reviews be allowed into the PO board after a certain length of time? I think nearly two years of posting on the boards - and reviews elsewhere - is sufficient time to recognize that I am a provider. And I can't possibly be the only provider without TER reviews.

So how about it?

Anyone could create a female handle and a website and call themselves a provider.

Until you are reviewed by a few credible reviewers, you should not be allowed entry.
After two years and not a single TER review I think that grounds for denial are standing out.

Babbling with mrfisher on the GD board does not count.

I may babble, but Jolene spills out pearls.

You have more babble in your pinky then...

Oh, forget it.

Not sure i've ever seen you get tiffed lol

Sept at me of course

I really like Joelene and don't like seeing her dissed.  Plus I had a really, really tough day at work.

But now I'm home and in my Aloha shirt, had my ginseng tea and I'm all mellow.

I agree with Erica and Mr. Trouble.  Two years of rambling could be the ultimate setup for a huge sting.

If Jolene is that "into" the biz it should be easy for her to get the fellows to pony up some reviews.

providers in my situation, with reviews but not TER reviews, must be held to the letter of the rule, not its spirit, which I thought was safety of the sisters.

So, providers in my situation are forced to fly without a safety net in your areas (Chicago, DC, Florida, etc.) because of this.

So, providers in my situation are simply SOL...

Nice to know, "sisters."

Eloquently put. Took the words right out of my mouth...

I could not disagree more. In fact I feel the standards of letting people into the PO board are too lax as it is. The provider board should have a password that gets changed at least monthly. Trust me there enough providers who have shown their BF, SO or whatever how to log into TER and get on that board. I have seen posts on that board that I cant help but believe were posted by a guy.

I think that a provider should have at least 5 reasonable reviews from well established hobbyists.

No offense Jolene. I am sure you have been around longer than I, and probably know more than I. But the point would be when you make exceptions for legacy individuals, or events, you start making exceptions for anyone. I enjoy and respect your posts, your attitude and your opinions along with your humor. But for those of us that do not know you personally, what kind of example does it set in our mind. How does it shape the perception of our security within the TER environment. Personally I have significant doubts about TER's security as it is, I hate to add more to it.

had a date with one. I repeat, I've never been contacted by a TER man for a date IN MY AREA; there are a few on this board who would see me if I was ever in THEIR area, but I've not met one in MINE. After two years, the probability of my meeting one is slim to none.

However, I didn't say I had no reviews at all. I said I don't have TER reviews. So, to the one who doubts I'm a provider, you'd only have to google me and you'd find I have two reviews elsewhere.

To the one who asked why I don't ask my clients to write it, I did at first. In the first six months, I asked every one of my clients to write a review; several promised they would - and they never came through. I have one I asked for and one I didn't; since then, nada. Others told me flat out that they don't write reviews "anymore." After awhile, I quit asking.

To the ladies who think I might setting up a huge sting, LE doesn't have the kind of patience (or funds or manpower) to be on a board like this for two years. Plus, I knew what the words "discreet" and "safety" and "security" meant long before I was a paid provider; I catted in lounges and had to be very careful that I wasn't bringing home someone who would hurt me or my children in our sleep.

For those who think I'm not a woman or a provider, take a look at my site (it's on a few posts I made in other areas of the board; I don't think it's allowed here). That's me in all my BBW glory.

Reagan, that's what makes an exception an EXCEPTION. It isn't a rule. It's a once-in-awhile request to be granted or denied.

I'm of the opinion that nothing asked is nothing gained. If I don't ask, it's an automatic 'no.' If I do ask, I may get told 'no' but it wasn't automatic. I quit asking for reviews because the guys didn't follow through; I chose to go along with the automatic 'no' on that because six months of asking yielded me nothing anyway. I won't ask for this again, but at least I asked in the first place.

to help to protect all of us.

Do you post ads on TER?
If so, you would have seen someone from TER.

you as a "provider" should know this. If the roles were reversed, would you want someone on the PO board with this information?

2 years and you havn't met 1 TER guy? seriously?

sorry...too many red flags for my comfort level...

good luck and fix your website so it doesnt say you are retired..

Well i have no TER reviews either.. as i am a UTR provider..  gotta keep a low profile here in my city as i work PT for a nationally known store.. if ya catch my drift..  i think after we post say 500 posts we should be given the opportunity of being a trial VIP .. lol
JMO

doesn't know who she held, who she had in her arms and bed, and doesn’t know how the men found her. So, it follows that she doesn’t know whether or not she held a man from TER.

I call BS on THAT!

Here is my final word on it all:

A) My OLD site says I’m retired. My NEW site doesn’t. My NEW site has been approved by the TER admin, so I suggest you GO THERE. My NEW site is what I advertise and link to now, not the old one.

B) Advertise on TER… oh silly me, why didn’t I think of that? Oh, wait – I DID!! No responses, nada, zip, nothing gained by advertising on my regional board, and nothing either when I link my site to a post. My local boards gained me suitors, but advertising on TER did not.

C) I asked ADMIN for the exception and gave adequate reasonings, including my desire to remain safe when I tour to the areas in which TER is most prevalent. Admin, apparently, has chosen to disregard my request. So be it.

D) Red flags? Because I didn’t see someone from TER? Really? Believe it or not, TER is NOT the be-all and end-all of review forums. I don’t know why it fell out that way, but I haven’t been with a TER man in my little city of Eugene, Oregon. They may exist out here, but this unrepentant fat old whore DOES know who she’s been with! If that’s a red flag for all of you providers, then perhaps you should ask yourself what YOU would do if you’re on a board that refuses to acknowledge your experience as a provider.

If that’s all, I’ll go back to contributing on the other boards on this forum where I don’t have to justify my existence or desires.

I started out in Tampa.  FL is a huge on TER.  I think I had 3 or 4 reviews before I knew TER existed!

About 2 years ago, I moved to the AL/GA border area and TER is basically unknown around here.  And those hobbyists around here who do know about it, don't participate on the discussion boards.   Therefore when they try to review me here, their reviews get denied because they don't participate on the discussion boards!  (Which I really don't understand that rule?)  Or they get denied because they aren't juicy enough...yaddda yadda yadda.

So it is NOT so easy to get reviews when you are not in a TER area.  I can sympathathize with Jolene in one way and I don't feel she is any threat to the hobby.

But that's just my opinion and I don't make the rules.  I don't want the security for the PO board to be any more lax than it already is either.

Jolene, I would suggest to just start touring and get those reviews.   I'm sure you already do, but use DC and P411 to help you feel safe.  Purchase VIP to read reviews and whitelistings here until you get those reviews you need and I hope to see you on the PO board one day soon.

Thanks
