A small add on to posted reviews for providers comments - above the line

I know this has been batted around before but it's time to bring it up again.  The reviewers pretty much get to say what they want and for the most part that's fine.  But not always.  Providers should be allowed a short response added "above" the line to the review.  We should have some input.  Here's 2 recent examples why:

1)  I changed the menu in session when a guy requested BBFS - says he gets it that way all the time from providers and civilians alike.  Okay, now I KNOW he's a high risk client and I only offered CBJ at that point and no BBBJ.  I should have stopped the session right then, looking back, but it was already well underway and reviewable.  He threatened at the end of the session that he would write a review that I am YMMV and refused BBBJ.  I said go ahead, but be sure to put the reason or my only choice will be to post on your regional board, the general discussion board and the providers board the real explaination as to why I chose to change the menu.

He didn't write the review and of course, I'm not seeing him again but that review would have lasted forever and NO one 2 months from now would have remembered my board comments.

2) I have a 6-7 inch scar on my back from back surgery.  A client thought it was rather sexy and wrote the original review saying I had an 18 inch scar.  I thank god the client changed it (big kisses).  Eighteen inches is more than a quarter of my body and is a huge exaggeration.  But that meant that staff had to pull the review for him to change and I am sure they have plenty more to do but it was a big deal to me.  A scar that big might be a turn off to several.

3)  Someone lists a menu item that didn't happen. Yes, this does happen from time to time.  Now if it's listed in review after review the provider is probably giving that service, but one review out of ?? I think she should be able to address it without having to take it to the client. They do NOT want to look like liars.

So this review system will never be perfect and simply can't be.  I know and respect that and I know staff does the best that they can.  But a little input can't hurt.  A few lines that we can add onto a posted review so we can say thanks or explain a little something in the review that we take issue with.  And these comments should be viewed ABOVE the line so non-vip can see it.
