wow what an upset. USA 2 Spain 0, unbelievable. Spain comes in #1 in the world, won 15 straight games, have a 35 game unbeaten streak and the USA beats them.

Great Game.  USA looked tired, but was able to pull it off.  Watch them Sunday everyone.

I only saw the highlights last night.  But here were a couple things I wondered about:

- Did Spain play such lackluster defense throughout the game?  During the highlights, it looked like they had no sense of urgency.  Even when the US strikers had the ball in the goal box, the Spanish defenders weren't collapsing on them.

- Did the US red card incident look like a cardable infraction at all?  The highlight showed a legitimate looking slide tackle.

- On the subject of red cards, is the US team playing futbol like it was football?  How many ejections have they garnered already in the tournament?  Conspiracy theories, anyone?

- What are the odds now on the US winning this thing?  Now THAT would be a miracle.

Team USA was a feoup od college kids and amateur who faces basically a PRO Soviet team.  Really men against boys.  In fact, I do not think one member of the 1980 Hockey team a  great NHL career.  Having said all of that, I do not shit about soccar or hockey
