Most over-rated player ever.....any sport?
No RB in NFL history gained more yards without ever being touched. Those outstanding Steeler teams loved the power sweeps, where Harris would run for 10-11 yards, then at the first sign of contact, he would run out of bounds. Their offense also loved the trap play, which was also a key play for them. Their offensive line was awesome. They had a Hall-of-Fame QB, as well as two HOF WR's, and of course the Steel Curtain. They were a team for the ages, despite having Franco as their starting tailback.
My runner up is Emmitt Smith, RB, Dallas Cowboys. Emmitt does not claim the title because he was much less of a wimp than Harris.Alllllllllllllllllli Dia, he's a liar, he's a liar, he's a liar...
After the injured guy who got them there goes down and it’s the second coming .
Just like this yearAs a former Michigander, and current Detroit Lions fan, I have had that very same vision of Barry Sanders running into immortality.
Barry would have done well with that line. However imagine Tony Dorsett with that line. Imagine how many break away runs he would of had. Keep in mind with the saying Gale Sayers had" all I need is 18 inches of daylight". In fact he was one of the first backs to run 4.3 consistently. With that line ,Dorsett is in the secondary on a regular basis. A telling factor would be when the free and strong safety lead the team in tackles during the course of the game.
To be fair to Doug, everyone new he was a legitimate NFL Quarterback. Not only did he get the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to an NFC Championship under the late John McKay. He also was a high first round Draft Pick coming from a SWAC school. In a time when you where starting to see very few Black Quarterbacks he was one that was extremely visible and he was from a college program that also had another quarterback who happened to be the pro bowl MVP in 1974. Not that white schools were recruiting Black Quarterbacks in droves but he was one of the last dominant ones prior to say Steve McNair.

and a 50% completion percentage.
If girls didn’t want to have his babies he would be ranked with Joey Harrington.
Kurt is overrated, but I got to tip my hat off to him for playing the system and cashing in like a boss. His family is set for life and many generations that comes after them as long as the USA is still around.
