Ok, now we'll wait for some righty to come up with an equally inane and distorted view of the Democratic platform.

don't you lefties get it. some of us don't want to vote Republican, but as long as the Democrats act as stupid as some of you really are we'll have no choice.

Do you think that any of us actually like McCain? Of course we don't, but he is so much more qualified and better for this country than your flim flimma man, most of us feel we have no choice. Nominate a black person who has any qualifications beyond the fact that he is black and I'll vote for him, or her. If you think that cramming Obama down our throat simply because he's black is going to fly any more than cramming Hillary down our throats just because she is a woman you are going to find yourself sadly mistaken come November.

Lincoln was a one term representative when he was elected.

Looking back, what makes you think you could judge qualifications anyway?  How did we end up with this fella who told a CIA briefer he didn't need to worry, a month before 9/11?   Or could have possibly mismanaged Iraq worse - with no idea of any military objective, and massive MASSIVE contracting frauds.   And you should let the market run free so we could have a couple dozen Enrons, and you don't need to worry about maintaining public works like dikes.  Way too socialistic.

A good general understands what he has to do.  It's pretty clear this war is going to be determined by economics, when the Chinese refuse to finance another round.   Bush has put us well on the way to losing a war that he started.

Smart people don't start things they can't finish.  Sun Tzu figured that out 4 fucking thousand years ago, and wrote it down for people too dumb to figure it out themselves.  BUT you still have to know how to read.  Can't do everything for the socialistic republicans.

Now that's funny coming from a member of the party that worships government almost as fervently as the religious wackos worships Jesus.

Smart people don't want to cut and run in Iraq, it's your people that want to do that.

Enron crashed in 2001, I suppose you want to blame Bush for that too. Enron committed its's  misdeeds during the Clinton administration, how do you pass the blame to Bush.

I suppose you want to blame the La levees on the Bush too, instead of blaming the local fraud that is endemic to Louisiana. why don't you try places the blame on the people who stole the money instead of the people who sent it.

As I've said before. libs are waay to stupid to be trusted to run anything. Have fun with your new friends, Avenging Idiot and 9inches up his ass man. One is a pathetic liar, the other is just pathetic. Good company for you.

You've been doing a lot of that lately. It's tough defending indefensible positions.

If you don't have any answers, I understand. At least you're smarter than your new friends. Of course dirt is smarter than those two. ROFLMAO

Vote for anybody but a Republican if you must, but at least be honest about it.

Obama's biggest claim to fame before becoming an elected offical was editor of Harvard Law Review. He was the first black to hold the post. I'm sure there was no affirmitive action going on there. Not at Harvard.

His law career was politically oriented from the beginning with no great experiences. He taught at Univercity of Chicago after only a couple of  years working. He must be really really great or has something else going for him.

Lincoln did have a very similar early political career (as BHO) in the Illinoise legislature, but Lincoln was also one of the most respected and feared trial lawyers of his time. He had a record of arguing in many landmark cases. He was also a militia Captain in the Black Hawk Indain War.

One interesting note of similarity to BHO is that Lincoln, as a freshman memeber of the U.S. House spoke out against the Mexiacan-American War, claiming it to be a war of choice for then President Polk. It was this out spokenness that cost him re-election and thus he was a one term Representative. His trial career came mostly after this.

The ones that use to be in power, or the ones that are in power or the ones that will be in power.  I get those mixed up.
