If the NRA and the NRA Foundation officers committed the alleged fraud,

I'm betting it involves an indictment of Trump. He'll become the first President to ever be indicted while running for re-election. And because it's a state indictment, he can't pardon himself.
The only other possibility is the indictment is of Trump's business. But since he was the CEO, it's basically the same thing. So if I'm right we'll find out if people will still vote for an indicted criminal. The last time anything like this happened in NY it involved a Democratic Governor, Spitzer, who at least has the decency to resign. I'm sure Trump won't.

Yup, they did and the shit is about to hit the fan, so let's try  to wipe the smile off our faces and put on our goggles. This should be very interesting.

and does ANYONE think that she has even a prayer of dissolving the NRA???

I know we have some very delusional libs on this board, but are any of you stupid enough to believe that this is anything more than a political stunt?

who must be checking the board daily -- if not hourly -- but has nothing to say because he's got no rebuttal AT ALL. Until he can finally claim this petty "victory."
What a fucking loser.
ROR!

I guess the NRA will be the next to leave. Texas has already gone on record as welcoming the NRA if they choose to relocate.

What a nothing burger. The NRA has MILLIONS of members, if she succeeds in driving them from NY, Big fucking deal, Texas is a better fit for them anyhow.

Lastly, if she does uncover "Massive fraud" as she alleges, she'll actually be doing the NRA a favor by uncovering it. I can support  the NRA without supporting it's leadership, much like I can support equal rights for minorities without supporting con men like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

,
-and the incredible specificity of the allegations answers that one for you -
then the IRS is surely going to revoke the 501©(3) tax status of the entities and that means the 300 million received in dues each year is….drum roll… federal taxable income as well as state taxable income…drum roll number 2 ...this is true for each tax year within the statute of limitations. Ouch.

Further, the amount skimmed off by LaPierre and the other fraudsters will no longer be treated as deductible business expenses. Hello, huge tax bill. Donations to the NRA Foundation will no longer be tax deductible.  Goodbye “charitable” contributions.

So this lawsuit and the DC lawsuit are existential threats to both organizations and your notion that the NRA can simply incorporate in Texas to reform is naïve to say the least, notwithstanding the Texas AG’s publicity stunt that you fell for hook, line, and sinker.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer organization. Well…maybe the Donald J. Trump Foundation which the AG also dissolved with a $2 million fine and, no, they didn’t reform in Texas. LOL

but at least you got yourself back into the good graces of Planet Stupid.

I do have a surprise confession for you though.  I haven't liked the way the NRA has been run for many years now and I don't like their leadership, much like how sensible liberals (yes, I know that's an oxymoron) can't stand the likes of the Al Sharptons of the world even though they support equal (or rather "special") rights for minorities.  I also have not been a paying member of the NRA for around a decade, mainly because they spent most of the money I used to send them in countless mailings asking me for more money. I finally got sick of it some ten years ago or so and quit sending them money.

Back to the NRA itself, membership dues have never been tax deductible and the NRA itself will survive regardless of what happens with the NRA foundation, and if this grandstanding woman manages to clean up the NRA she'll be doing us all a favor, but I am not holding my breath.

And they have another deal cooking for 180K more. And Apple is looking at another major deal. Not to mention that people are exiting cities EVERYWHERE, not just NY.  So NY will be just fine thanks.
Also, NY won't be hurt if the NRA leaves. It occupies no space in NY and generates no revenues. And, of course, it's a non-profit and has never paid taxes there.
But thanks for another steaming pile of lies and stupidity, CaCa.

Oliver North stepped down as President of the NRA last year because he was concerned with their financial dealings.  GOA is probably the better organization.

assets etc. They need to account for all the allegations charged. Without that they cannot leave. But they cannot account for it without accepting theft and other wrong doing. You TER board lawyer wannabe check the law of NY.
If it were possible Trump U. And Trump charity will be in Texas now!
You said one thing very revealing: it takes NY AG to clean shit that righties create.  You righties are pathetic...
BTW, more fun DC is suing NRA Foundation. I hope IRS can bring criminal charges against the four stooges!

...a twit of an Attorney General means that the State of Texas has "gone on record as welcoming the NRA."  What "record," Twitter?  BWAHAHAHAHA!

Fake lawyer GaG is about as good a lawyer as the Attorney General of Texas.  GaG says: "...if she succeeds in driving them from NY, Big fucking deal, Texas is a better fit..."  Sorry, fake lawyer GaG, the AG of NY is NOT trying to "drive" the NRA from NY.  Her 160+ page lawsuit is trying to DISSOLVE the NRA.  That means the NRA, which was chartered as a nonprofit corporation 150 years ago would CEASE TO EXIST.  If the State of New York wins the lawsuit, the court would order that any remaining assets (and future assets) be applied to charitable uses consistent with the mission set forth in the NRA's certificate of incorporation in NY.  There would be no NRA and there would be nothing and nobody for the idiot AG of Texas to welcome.

He's also an arrogant retard who, while abysmally retarded, also thinks he's always right. On top of that he's a pathological liar who twists the truth into an unrecognizable pretzel and then expects you to agree with him.
It's a version of sociopathy. Just like our President.
