I'm a major fan of Keisha's; I have been for quite some time, but there are many excellent providers right here in this area who can provide the same service for $1200 an hour less. I do not see the value for overpaying just because someone has made a few hundred videos over the years. I would rather have five great experiences with other local providers for the price of one of Keisha's. It's nothing personal or sour grapes, mind you, for as I said I'm a big fan, and if she can charge that kind of rate and there's a market, well, that's the law of economics and good business. However, I just cannot see paying that much for an hour of someone's time, no matter how good that hour is, when I can get the same value for 20% of the cost.
Keisha is a truly amazing PSE. I've been with many Porn Stars and, though others are fine in their way, Keisha is in a class by herself. Does she charge a lot? No more than many of the other porn stars working with Body Miracle, etc. It's her gorgeous body -- amazingly, she's willing to share it with the world at large. She has every right to charge whatever she wants for her time. On top of that, she gets more work than she knows what to do with, and she delivers incredible bang for the buck.
I can name half a dozen (at least) hot bodies right off the top of my head, right here in the area between Atlantic City, NJ and Philadelphia, PA, and the total that I would pay for them would just about equal what I would pay for one hour of Keisha's time. I am not begrudging her right to name her own price - that's the American way, it's good business, and fits perfectly into the economic model of supply & demand dictating price. Besides, being that I'm in the mortgage business, I basically am in the same boat as she or any other provider of a service. In fact, I've been told that the difference between me and someone in Keisha's line of work is that I leave my clothes on when I fuck my clients. My rate to write a mortgage is set in concrete, and I make no exceptions or excuses. However, I stay competitive with the industry standards. If, for example, I charge six points for a residential mortgage when others are charging 2.5 or 3, I'm in trouble. It goes back to choice, that's all, and if someone feels at ease paying that kind of cost, and if someone feels comfortable charging it, I'm cool with it. However, like the line from the movie "Deliverance" goes, "Don't piss on my back and tell me it's raining". Don't tell me that you are consumer (read that "fan") friendly and exploit them for such an exorbitant amount. Stars like Blake Mitchell and Sierra, for example, charge a little more than the aforementioned average, like $500 and $600 per hour, and that to me is an acceptable increase for their name and reputation. $1500? Not a chance.
I don't know.. The girl raises her prices 25% during a recession and has her followers worshipping her. She must be sucking their brains out along with their semen.. In fact I heard a rumor that a religion is being started in her name... And by the way her price is not $1200 it is $1500 an hour now...
The $1200 I made reference to represents the difference between Keisha's hourly rate ($1500) and the industry standard in the Philadelphia area ($300).
For every person who sees Keisha, there are probably thousands who feel the way you do -- however, I don't imagine Keisha has the time or energy to see thousands of people, so she sees the ones who can afford her price. Is it higher than the 300 dollar local standard you mention? Sure. Is it higher than the porn star standard? Not at all. Here are prices for popular girls on the porn star circuit -- Nikita Denise two thousand per hour. Amber Lynn twenty-five hundred. Anna Malle, fifteen hundred. Nina Hartley, seventeen hundred. Taylor Wane, sixteen-fifty. Brittney Andrews, fifteen hundred. Raquel Devine, fourteen hundred. Bridget Kirkov, two thousand. Now, most of the these porn girls work through agencies -- Keisha's an independent so she posts on these boards herself, leaving herself open to people to respond to her posts directly without the protection of an agency.

The others you mentioned are all working for agencies which adds a surcharge which is why they are around the dollars you quoted. As far as Amber is concerned, she has been flamed, crucified, and has made the hall of fame for rip-offs. None of those girls with the acception of Anna Malle is worth what they are asking if you read the reviews. The difference is that they don't promote themselves as something they aren't. What has some of us annoyed with Keisha is her portrayel of herself as the "Mary Poppins" of the adult world, going around helping her adoring fans discover sexual pleasure. No doubt she does provide a good experience, but someone who was truly dedicated to her fans would provide discounts to those that join her web site, occassionally offer specials to her loyal customer base AND ADVERTISE IT. The Docter Schweitzer nobility act is bullshit..She is running a business. Damn good at it to..

Being independent also means that she does not have an agency to share her revenue with, and having her own website at $24.99 per month also generates much income, I'm sure, which could serve to offset whatever costs she incurs as an independent that she would not have to bear working for an agency. As I said at the outset, I would charge it, too, if the market would warrant, as it obviously does for Keisha. More power to her as a result. I just do not see spending that kind of money on anyone, that's all, and I'm cool if someone else feels otherwise - to each his own. I just felt that this viewpoint needed to be expressed. It's not a right or wrong issue to me, simply that my choice and opinion differs with a number of others, but in the end we make our own decisions.
RichartT i am right up there with you. My beef with Keisha is the projection of a do-gooder out to help and save all the men out there in need of her services. I find this marketing image alittle insincere. The other girls who charge these rates don't pretend it to be anything more that what it is...
I'll keep holding up my end of this thread as the only one involved who has actually BEEN with Keisha. All I can say is, and you will get this seconded by anyone who knows her, the last thing Keisha ever is is insincere. The woman loves what she does, she loves pleasing men, and she's also a good business woman who knows what her services are worth in the marketplace. I've been with many of the top PSE names, from Nina Hartley to Kianna to Raquel Devine to Angelica Sinn to Lovette to Bionca, etc., many of whom charge as much or more than Keisha, and I'm here to tell you that what Keisha provides is truly extrordinary.
