I'm new to the East Coast and not the greatest traveler, but I'm planning to drive to Philly from Maryland. I will be checking in at a hotel on Thursday, the 31st, and staying through Saturday or Sunday, depending on the GFE entertainment, food, and sightseeing. Liberty Bell's, The Rocky's Steps, and Geno's steaks are my starting points. :-)

If you have any tips and recommendations, please share them here or PM me by bullet points and I will look them up. I'll post this on the General Board as well.

Thank you!!!

First tip is try both Pat’s and Geno’s and do a side by side taste test. Second tip is reach out to Samantha Meadows. Dancer’s body. Amazing. Attached her ad.

I was glad to make the short drive. I learned a few new things along the way. The city is full of history, and I enjoyed it. Downtown Philly was great and much better, as was Chinatown, which is 100 times better than DC. Pat's and Geno do not represent Philly's best cheese steak sandwiches.

I was so burned out so I did not entertain any sessions. I will definitely revisit as I did not fully entertain the city.

FWIW, Loews Hotel requires a keycard at all times.
