I suppose there is always a risk of entrapment. This is why TER exists in large part. The reviews eliminate the risk for gentlemen by providing a clear picture of who the ladies are and what level of service they provide.
Answering a newspaper ad from a provider that is not listed on the internet nor in the reviews is much more risky.
Busts and sting operations seem to be politically motivated. Only the local LE can really tell you what your risks are, but you probably shouldn’t call them to ask. Are there a lot of stings going on in your area?
