I don't know if it's because business travel is picking back up and hotels are trying to re-gain some of the lost revenue during Covid but, you're right, they sure are high!

Maine prices are high too.  Even sleezy motels that have nothing to offer are overpriced.

People are trying to get back what they lost during covid, the top 1% was first and now it is time for the “upper class” after the upper class regains what they have lost your business will skyrocket higher than you’ve ever seen before. I’m talking Craigslist and backpage days if you were around back then.  

The economy for the upper class is picking up so they know they can charge more money. Your business isn’t based on economics it’s based on desire and lust so regardless if the economy is booming, if you change your prices based on an economical boom you may not get the results you want.
