I bought a video from a FSSW provider that I've never met. It was more of a video proof of her. She pointed something at the camera and it flashed brightly. She said it was a taser. Is it just that simple? Don't mess with me and a touch of BDSM?

My post-Matrix tin foil hat self thinks that some kind of device can have an effect to the viewer of the video. Or else it damages a my device? Or it's a security measure against sharing the video?
