Celebrate the slow, sometimes uneven, sometimes backward movement to legalize our hobby.  The fallout from SESTA and FOSTA was unfortunate as both sets of acts were not only about sex trafficking but also blatantly anti-sex work.  Yet some prosecutors have begun to avoid enforcing some anti-sex laws where the transaction is consensual.  (That's probably because there is so much other crime right now, but maybe (maybe) it's the result of a shift in understanding our hobby.)  There is certainly a relaxation in prohibiting formerly other "immoral" activities.  "Back in the day" you could only gamble in Las Vegas, through the mob-run numbers available at your barbershop, or the Irish Sweepstakes.  Now you can gamble on your computer - slots, horses, even sports teams.  Many live together without a marriage contract and many of them have children.  Everyone claims they have "rights" (without using "responsibility" in the same sentence).  Petty theft is sometimes not prosecuted.  What would have been considered undergarments only a short time ago are worn in public by women and men.  Some of our larger advertising and boards are allowed to continue (eg "The Erotic Review," "P411," "Tryst.link."  If LE really wanted them gone, they'd be gone.  Abortion, once legally considered murder, is commonplace (and the efforts to reverse current law seems unable to gain ascendency).  Porn actors have moved to mainstream.  The social stigmas are slowly evaporating.  It continues to be difficult to campaign publicly for legalization, but slowly, slowly we are moving towards a more open acceptance of our hobby.  Celebrate that!
