The Erotic Service Providers Union filed a lawsuit a few years ago saying that anti-prostitution laws are unconstitutional. It was dismissed, but there is an appeal. It has been difficult for us to raise enough funds to pay the attorney for the appeal.

Millions of federal dollars (which come from taxes we pay) have been spent on the propaganda machine that yells about human trafficking. The effort to educate people about the difference between consenting adults and trafficking has been under-funded.

I dream of the day when sex workers won't be bullied or worse by police officers, because our work will be decriminalized. All crimes against workers and clients will be reported, because the victims will have no fear. LE will be freed up to investigate real crime. Let's make it happen.
